Associate Account Executive (PR)

About the role

As an Associate Account Executive at Ruder Finn India you will join a fast‑growing communications agency and support the delivery of PR campaigns for a diverse portfolio of brands. You will work closely with senior account teams to translate strategy into compelling stories and see your work published in real time.

Key responsibilities

• Draft press releases, pitches and other media materials and monitor coverage to measure impact.
• Research and maintain up‑to‑date media lists, cultivate relationships with journalists and stay on top of industry trends.
• Assist with day‑to‑day client deliverables, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
• Collaborate with account managers and creative teams to contribute ideas that enhance campaign performance.
• Continuously learn PR best practices and apply new insights to client work.

Required profile

• 0–1 year of experience in public relations or communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interest in media and storytelling.
• Proactive, collaborative attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
