Assistant/Deputy Manager – Learning & Development

About the role

The Assistant/Deputy Manager – Learning & Development will lead the talent acquisition and onboarding processes for a large manufacturing plant. The role ensures 100% manpower availability while complying with ISO/IATF standards and internal SOPs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the overall recruiting strategy for the plant.
• Develop and maintain job descriptions, specifications, org charts and vacancy trackers.
• Collect and verify departmental data for monthly PIB calculations.
• Coordinate with corporate HR and external consultants for campus and group placement drives.
• Source candidates via databases, online platforms and consultancies; screen resumes and conduct interviews.
• Negotiate offers, obtain approvals through eNFA, and manage onboarding in the company system.
• Handle employee grievances related to expense reimbursement and ensure audit compliance for hiring records.

Required profile

• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
• Strong communication, leadership and result‑orientation.
• Ability to prioritize multiple vacancies and assess candidate competency.
• Experience in coordinating with internal departments and external HR partners.
