About the role
The role supports the tax team in preparing and filing direct tax returns for corporate clients. It is a full‑time, office‑based position located in Mumbai, ideal for a fresh CA graduate looking to start a career in direct tax.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and filing of income tax returns, advance tax calculations and tax computations.
- Support tax provisioning (current and deferred tax) and prepare related schedules for quarterly and annual financial reporting under Ind AS.
- Handle TDS compliance, perform reconciliations and coordinate tax audits.
- Assist in responding to tax notices, assessments and preparing litigation documentation.
- Provide support for tax due diligence, restructuring, M&A transactions and valuation assignments.
- Conduct research on tax laws, judicial precedents and regulatory updates.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants on ongoing tax matters.
Required profile
- CA qualification (fresh graduate).
- Based in Mumbai and able to work full‑time from the office.
