Assistant/Deputy Manager – Direct Tax (CA Fresher)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated CA fresher to join our Direct Tax team in Mumbai as an Assistant/Deputy Manager. You will support senior tax professionals in delivering accurate tax compliance and advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and filing of income tax returns, advance tax calculations and tax computations.
• Support tax provisioning (current and deferred) and prepare related schedules for quarterly and annual financial reporting under Ind AS.
• Handle TDS compliance, perform reconciliations and coordinate tax audit activities.
• Assist in responding to tax notices, assessments and preparing litigation documentation.
• Provide support for tax due diligence, restructuring, M&A transactions and valuation assignments.
• Conduct research on tax laws, judicial precedents and regulatory updates.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants on ongoing tax matters.

Required profile

• CA qualification (fresh graduate) willing to work in Mumbai.
