About the role
The Assistant/Deputy Manager – Claims Operations ensures smooth coordination with service‑provider partners for timely settlement of Travel and OPD claims. The role also conducts regular medical and technical audits and maintains accurate MIS and reporting for the claims function.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate with partner teams to achieve agreed claim settlement SLAs.
- Perform medical and technical audits on approved claims.
- Prepare and submit periodic and ad‑hoc claim reports accurately and on time.
- Develop Excel shortcuts, formulas and alternative tools to streamline reporting.
- Conduct sanity checks before report submission and close audit observations.
- Train partner claim processors on policy terms, time management and delegation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on data, MIS and analytics.

- Strong coordination and analytical abilities.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to think on the spot.
- Excellent communication and soft‑skill capabilities.
