Assistant/Deputy Category Manager – Travel

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant/Deputy Category Manager to drive growth and innovation for our travel packages. Based in Gurgaon, you will work closely with product, marketing, supply and operations teams to shape category performance and enhance the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual growth roadmaps using traveler insights, market trends and competitive analysis.
• Lead strategic projects from ideation to rollout, building business cases and phased implementation plans.
• Design, build and maintain performance dashboards and business intelligence tools to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Revenue and Product teams to accelerate growth and drive business outcomes.
• Identify new growth opportunities through industry benchmarking and innovative strategies.
• Own and optimise the end-to-end customer journey to ensure a seamless travel experience.
• Partner with senior leadership to shape strategic priorities and provide data-driven recommendations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree from a reputed institute.
• 3–5 years of experience managing a category in internet, e‑commerce, travel or a similar environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into strategic actions.
• Excellent collaboration skills and experience working cross‑functionally.

• Data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
