Assistant/Associate Professor – Management

About the role

The University of Southampton’s international campus in Gurgaon, India, is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor in Management. You will join a growing academic community delivering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, supporting research, and enhancing the student experience.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and assess a range of management modules, including Introduction to Management, Management Ethics, Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurial Management, and Digital Technologies in Business.
• Develop and update curriculum materials to align with international standards.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
• Conduct research and knowledge‑exchange activities in general management, contributing to the campus’s research strategy.
• Participate in student recruitment, outreach, and campus community initiatives.
• Uphold and promote the University’s “Southampton Behaviours” in all interactions.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent research degree in Management or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience teaching at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
• Strong commitment to high‑quality education and student support.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural academic environment.
• Research interest in general management topics.
