Assistant/Associate Professor – Finance

About the role

The institution is seeking qualified candidates for Assistant or Associate Professor positions in Finance. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching, conducting rigorous research, and contributing to the overall academic and administrative functions of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Teach PGDM finance courses, prepare lesson plans, case studies, and assessments using modern pedagogical methods.
• Design, administer, and evaluate assignments, quizzes, projects, and examinations while maintaining academic records.
• Publish research in indexed journals, present at conferences, and lead funded research or consultancy projects.
• Mentor students on academic and career development, supervise capstone projects, and support placement activities.
• Develop industry linkages, organize guest lectures, industrial visits, and finance conclaves.
• Participate in curriculum design, accreditation processes, and institutional committees.

Required profile

• Assistant Professor: MBA/PGDM (Finance) with First Class from a recognized university; Ph.D. in Management/Finance preferred or pursuing.
• Associate Professor: Ph.D. in Management/Finance or equivalent; strong record of research and teaching.
• Demonstrated ability to teach one or more finance subjects such as Corporate Finance, Investment Analysis, Financial Markets, Risk Management, etc.
