Assistant Waiter

About the role

As an Assistant Waiter at Soho House you will support the service team in delivering memorable dining experiences for members and guests. You will work across all service periods, from breakfast to private events, ensuring the highest standards of hospitality and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Provide warm, personalised service, greeting guests and anticipating their needs throughout the dining experience.
• Assist in setting, resetting and maintaining restaurant sections to Soho House standards before, during and after service.
• Communicate guest preferences, special requests and operational updates promptly to the management team.
• Resolve minor service concerns on the floor and escalate more complex issues to the Club Manager or Supervisor.
• Uphold brand standards, personal grooming, and compliance with food safety, hygiene and health‑and‑safety policies.
• Complete daily opening, closing and side duties as allocated by the Head of Department or Supervisor.
