About the role
The Assistant Vice President – Supply Chain & Logistics will lead end‑to‑end procurement, packaging, CAPEX and project sourcing activities, ensuring cost efficiency, timely delivery and compliance with SOPs.
Key responsibilities
- Develop sourcing recommendations aligned with category strategies to meet cost, quality, delivery and performance targets.
- Utilise strategic procurement tools such as eProcurement, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis and clean‑sheet costing.
- Lead implementation of new technologies and innovative packaging procurement solutions.
- Manage contracts for key services, manpower, CAPEX and projects, establishing strategic vendor partnerships.
- Drive cost‑reduction initiatives by consolidating tasks and eliminating non‑value‑added processes.
- Support supplier quality assessment and define selection parameters.
