Assistant Store Manager

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, customer‑focused Assistant Store Manager to support the daily operations of our JUSTDOGS pet store. You will ensure a smooth and pleasant experience for both customers and their pets while handling sales, appointments, online orders, and deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable pet products and services.
• Process billing and POS transactions accurately.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate pet spa appointments with the spa team.
• Manage online order processing, coordinate fulfillment, and keep customers informed.
• Organise home deliveries, ensuring timely dispatch and accurate tracking.
• Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, appointments, orders, and deliveries.
• Support the Store Manager with daily operations and staff coordination.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and well‑presented.
• Monitor product availability and assist with inventory‑related tasks.
• Follow JUSTDOGS customer service standards, operational procedures, and store policies.
• Support promotional activities and help achieve sales and service targets.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage customers, appointments, orders, and deliveries efficiently.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn about pet products and care.
• Prior experience in retail, pet care, customer service, or store operations is an advantage.
• Passion for animals and comfort working in a pet‑store environment.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy.
• Experience with billing and POS systems.
