Assistant Store Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in the daily operations of our fuel‑and‑convenience locations across New England. The role focuses on delivering fast, friendly service while maintaining a clean, safe, and well‑stocked store environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing all store activities and ensuring a great shopping experience.
• Mentor and train team members to provide courteous, efficient service.
• Stock and re‑stock merchandise, monitor inventory levels, and receive vendor deliveries.
• Complete required paperwork such as shift reports, gas reconciliation, and cigarette counts.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance.
• Perform physical tasks including standing, kneeling, lifting up to 30 lb, and traversing all store areas.
• Cover any shift within operational hours, including weekends.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year retail experience.
• Positive, courteous attitude and strong communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and operate electronic sales equipment.
• General computer knowledge.
• Must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and have reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
