Assistant Security Manager

About the role

The Assistant Security Manager will support the Security Manager in safeguarding the resort’s guests, staff, and assets. Based on‑site at Raffles Udaipur, this full‑time position ensures that physical and information security standards are consistently met across all areas of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain physical security measures, including access control and surveillance systems.
• Coordinate daily activities of security personnel and conduct routine inspections of guest, staff, and back‑of‑house areas.
• Prepare and maintain incident reports, support emergency response procedures, and liaise with local authorities when required.
• Collaborate with other departments to secure events, high‑profile visits, and large‑scale functions.
• Assist in implementing information and cybersecurity protocols and work closely with IT teams.
• Deliver security training to team members and contribute to continuous improvement of security policies.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in physical security and security management, preferably within hospitality or large‑scale resort environments.
• Knowledge of information security, cybersecurity, and network security principles.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Relevant education in security management, criminology, hospitality or related fields; professional security certifications are a plus.
