About the role

Accor is seeking an enthusiastic and detail‑oriented Assistant Restaurant Manager to join its team in Kooddoo, Maldives. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you will help ensure smooth daily operations, high‑quality service, and memorable dining experiences for an international clientele.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising daily restaurant operations and ensuring efficient service delivery.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor front‑of‑house staff to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service.
• Manage inventory, coordinate orders, and implement cost‑control measures to optimise profitability and minimise waste.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with empathy, resolving issues promptly and transparently.
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Participate in menu planning, development, and the rollout of new culinary initiatives.
• Support staff scheduling, onboarding, training programmes, and performance evaluations.
• Step in for the Restaurant Manager when required, demonstrating confident leadership and decisive decision‑making.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure timely, quality food preparation and service.
• Analyse sales data, customer feedback, and operational metrics to identify trends and suggest improvements.
• Foster an inclusive, positive work culture that values each team member’s contribution.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with suppliers to secure quality products and competitive pricing.
