Assistant Project Manager – Electrical Low Side Projects

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of large‑scale electrical low‑side works for hyperscale data centre projects. The role will work on‑site in Navi Mumbai, reporting to the Senior Project Manager and will help drive execution, reporting and compliance across cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in meeting technical, financial and delivery targets.
• Coordinate procurement activities – PRs, RFQs, techno‑commercial clarifications, order placement and delivery tracking.
• Serve as primary interface between vendors, site teams, engineering, quality, planning and the client/PMC.
• Prepare and consolidate project reports on progress, milestones, risks, issues and cash‑flow status.
• Support requirement, change and scope management across stakeholders.
• Track action items, commitments and closures for internal and external parties.
• Identify and monitor project risks and opportunities, escalating deviations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines, site execution plans and quality standards.
• Assist in monitoring contractual obligations of vendors and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8‑10 years of EPC project execution experience, preferably in electrical infrastructure or data‑centre projects.
• Strong background in procurement coordination, vendor management and client interaction.
• Hands‑on experience in multi‑disciplinary project reporting and tracking.
• Familiarity with structured project‑management processes (e.g., PM@Siemens).

• Medium‑Voltage (MV) and Low‑Voltage (LV) systems.
• Ring Main Units (RMUs), Transformers, Busduct.
• Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.
• Cabling and Extra‑Low‑Voltage (ELV) systems.
• Procurement coordination and vendor management.
• Project reporting and risk tracking.
• PM@Siemens or equivalent project‑management framework.
