About the role
The School of AI is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Professor to join its faculty in Coimbatore. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate teaching, research, and academic service within a vibrant AI-focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and tutorials for BTech programmes covering artificial intelligence and related subjects.
- Design, conduct, and evaluate laboratory sessions and project‑based learning activities.
- Apply for research and project grants to support departmental initiatives.
- Publish high‑impact research papers in interdisciplinary AI domains.
- Participate in syllabus development and continuous curriculum improvement.
- Engage in administrative duties and departmental committees as required.
Required profile
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics.
- 0‑3 years of teaching, research, or industry experience relevant to AI.
Required skills
- Strong subject‑matter expertise in artificial intelligence and related engineering disciplines.
