Assistant Professor of Marketing

About the role

The Institute is seeking an Assistant Professor of Marketing to join its MBA program. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality teaching, supervising students, and contributing to the academic growth of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and assess MBA Marketing courses through lectures, seminars, tutorials and coursework.
• Develop and deliver postgraduate modules such as Sales & Distribution, Marketing Management, Integrated Marketing Communications, Digital & Social Media Marketing, B2B Marketing, Service Marketing Management, Product & Retail Management, and Marketing Analytics.
• Provide pastoral support and mentorship to students.
• Participate in curriculum design, teaching‑method innovation, and quality‑enhancement initiatives.
• Publish research in reputable marketing journals and engage in departmental, college or university committees.
• Perform administrative duties assigned by the Department Chair and promote the Institute’s growth.

Required profile

• Minimum MBA in Marketing from a recognized university.
• 2‑4 years of teaching experience at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
• Strong commitment to teaching excellence, curriculum development, and outcome assessment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Ph.D cleared (preferred) and a record of research/publications (preferred).

Required skills

• Teaching aptitude and public speaking ability.
• Deep knowledge of marketing concepts and ability to explain them clearly.
• Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools or certifications is a plus.
