Assistant Professor – MBA (Operations & Quality Management)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Assistant Professor to join our MBA department. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic and research excellence of the institution.

Key responsibilities

• Teach MBA courses such as Production and Operations Management, Human Values and Ethics, Total Quality Management, and Accounting.
• Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Conduct lectures, tutorials, seminars, and case‑study discussions.
• Evaluate student performance through exams, projects, presentations, and continuous assessments.
• Mentor students in academic and professional development.
• Participate in curriculum development, accreditation support, and academic administration.
• Engage in research, publications, consultancy, and faculty development activities.

Required profile

• MBA with specialization in Operations Management or a related discipline.
• Preference for NET/SET/Ph.D. qualification as per AICTE/Anna University norms.
• Minimum 2 years of industry experience (mandatory).
• Prior teaching experience in a management institution is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) platforms.
• Familiarity with digital teaching tools.
