Assistant Professor – General Management

About the role

PIBM Group of Institutes is looking for a passionate Assistant Professor to join its Management Studies department. The role involves teaching MBA/PGDM students across a range of management subjects and contributing to the institute’s academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures in General Management and related subjects such as Marketing, Finance, and Economics.
• Design course materials, case studies, lesson plans, and assessment tools.
• Mentor students on projects, internships, and career development.
• Participate in curriculum design, academic administration, and accreditation activities.
• Conduct and publish research in reputable journals.
• Organise workshops, seminars, faculty development programmes, and industry interaction sessions.
• Support placement drives and corporate engagement initiatives.

Required profile

• Ph.D. (completed and awarded) in a relevant discipline; candidates still pursuing a Ph.D. are not eligible.
• Master’s degree (MBA/PGDM or equivalent) with a strong academic record.
• 3–8 years of teaching experience in MBA/PGDM programs.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following: Marketing Management, Consumer Behaviour, Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Managerial Economics, Business Economics, Strategic Management, or General Management.
• Industry experience is an advantage.
