Assistant Professor – General Management (Chandigarh Campus)

About the role

The School of Leadership (SOL) at its Chandigarh campus is inviting applications for faculty positions in the General Management discipline. Openings are available at the levels of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor, each requiring a strong blend of teaching, research and industry engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in General Management and related subjects.
• Design and update curricula to reflect current industry practices.
• Conduct high‑quality research, publish in peer‑reviewed journals, and maintain a robust research score.
• Supervise and mentor doctoral candidates, guiding them to successful completion.
• Engage in consultancy projects, industry collaborations, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Participate in academic administration, accreditation processes and departmental committees.

Required profile

• For Professor: Ph.D. with first‑class Bachelors/Masters, minimum 15 years of teaching/research or senior industry experience, at least 10 SCI publications, research score ≥120, and supervision of ≥2 Ph.D. scholars.
• For Associate Professor: Ph.D. with first‑class Bachelors/Masters, minimum 8 years of teaching/research or equivalent industry experience, at least 7 SCI publications, research score ≥75.
• For Assistant Professor: Master’s degree with ≥55% (or equivalent), cleared UGC NET/SLET/SET.
• Industry candidates may be considered if they have professional work equivalent to a Ph.D. and documented research output.
