Assistant Professor – Cybersecurity (Indore)

About the role

ImaginXP is seeking a full‑time Assistant Professor to join its Cybersecurity faculty in Indore. You will teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, design curriculum aligned with industry needs, and lead practical labs and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures and lab sessions on cybersecurity topics.
• Mentor and advise students, supervise academic projects, and evaluate performance.
• Continuously improve course content based on industry trends and feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues on academic initiatives, departmental meetings, and research activities.
• Support industry partnerships, placement drives, and other outreach programs in the cybersecurity domain.

Required profile

• Strong academic background in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT or related field (Master’s or PhD preferred).
• Applied knowledge of network security, application security, cryptography, risk management and security operations.
• Experience with practical cybersecurity tools and frameworks.
• Proven ability to design curriculum, plan lessons and conduct hands‑on sessions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest or experience in research, publications, or industry collaboration.
• Comfort with learning management systems and digital teaching tools.
• Prior teaching or training experience in higher education is highly desirable.
