Amity University Patna invites applications from dynamic, research‑oriented professionals for the position of Assistant Professor in Computer Science & Engineering. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, mentoring research projects, and participating in academic and institutional activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality lectures, tutorials, labs and practical sessions for UG/PG programmes.
• Develop and continuously update course content, lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with industry trends.
• Conduct examinations, evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.
• Guide student projects, internships, dissertations and research activities.
• Mentor students for academic, professional and career development.
• Undertake quality research and publish papers in reputable journals and conferences.
• Participate in faculty development programmes, seminars, workshops and conferences.
• Contribute to curriculum development, departmental activities and academic administration.
• Promote industry‑academia collaboration, innovation and technology‑enabled learning.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
• Strong academic and research record with quality publications (preferred).
• Relevant teaching, research, industry or academic administration experience is an advantage.
• Excellent subject knowledge, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to adopt innovative, technology‑enabled teaching methodologies.
