About the role

Parul University in Vadodara, Gujarat, seeks a dynamic Assistant Professor to join its Computer Science & Engineering department. The position focuses on teaching and research in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and emerging computing technologies, and supports international academic collaborations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in AI, ML, Data Science, and related emerging technologies.
• Design and update curricula to reflect current industry and research trends.
• Conduct and publish high‑quality research, securing grants where possible.
• Participate in and promote international collaborations and academic partnerships.
• Mentor students on projects, theses, and career development.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of teaching and/or research experience in Computer Science or related fields.
• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a closely related discipline (preferred).
• Master’s degree holders with exceptional teaching or industry experience are also considered.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with research projects and international collaborations is an advantage.
