Assistant Professor – Communication

About the role

The School of Business Design seeks an Assistant Professor in Communication to deliver high‑quality teaching, advance research, and support student development. The role will contribute to curriculum design and ensure learning experiences are aligned with industry needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging courses in Business Communication, Managerial Communication, Professional Writing, Presentation Skills, and related subjects.
• Update course materials, assessments, and learning resources using contemporary industry practices and experiential learning methods.
• Assess student performance through assignments, projects, presentations, and examinations.
• Integrate technology and AI‑enabled teaching tools to enhance classroom engagement.
• Conduct scholarly research, publish in peer‑reviewed journals, and present at conferences.
• Participate in curriculum development, accreditation, and academic governance activities.
• Mentor students on academic progress, communication effectiveness, and career readiness, including placement support.
• Collaborate with faculty and industry partners to enrich practice‑oriented learning.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Communication, English, Business Communication, Mass Communication, Management, or a related discipline.
• Ph.D. (completed or in progress) in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated expertise in Business, Corporate, or Professional Communication.
• Strong academic writing and research orientation.
