About the role

The Department of Civil Engineering at Anand International College of Engineering seeks an Assistant Professor to join its faculty. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate teaching, mentor students, and develop a robust research programme aligned with departmental priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver B.Tech courses covering Structural Engineering, Construction Technology, Environmental Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, and Water Resources Engineering.
• Mentor and advise students on academic progress and career development.
• Conduct high‑quality research, publish in peer‑reviewed journals, and secure external funding.
• Collaborate with industry, government agencies, and other academic institutions on civil engineering projects.
• Participate in departmental, college, and university committees.
• Engage with professional organisations and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the engineering community.

Required profile

• Minimum M.Tech in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Ph.D. candidates preferred; prior teaching experience in engineering colleges is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities.
