Assistant Merchandiser

About the role

The Assistant Merchandiser will support the merchandising team at 7 Seas, a premium furniture manufacturer, by helping to plan, select, and manage product lines that meet brand standards and market demand. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with production, design, sales, and retail partners to ensure product availability and visual consistency across showrooms.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with production and design teams to align product development with market trends.
• Track inventory levels, order status, and product data to maintain accurate records.
• Assist in pricing strategies, promotional activities, and preparation of product presentations.
• Liaise with customers, sales staff, and retail partners to gather feedback and support visual merchandising.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory turnover, and merchandising metrics.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills for clear verbal and written interaction with internal teams and customers.
• Customer service orientation to handle inquiries and resolve issues.
• Understanding of sales and retail environments, especially in furniture or home décor.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities for managing product data and documentation.
• Ability to work on‑site in Jodhpur and collaborate in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional setting.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in MS Office for reporting, spreadsheets, and presentations.
