Assistant Merchandiser – Furniture Export

About the role

The Assistant Merchandiser will support the merchandising team of a furniture manufacturing and export company, ensuring product assortments and order information are accurately managed for international buyers. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Jodhpur and works closely with production, sales, customer service and marketing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update product catalogs and price lists.
• Prepare quotations and assist in sample development.
• Track order status and communicate updates to buyers.
• Coordinate with sales, customer service and marketing to align product presentation with market trends.
• Handle basic documentation and support showroom or display arrangements.
• Facilitate smooth communication between buyers and internal teams.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Sales and retail knowledge to understand buyer needs.
• Marketing awareness for product presentation and promotional coordination.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage multiple orders.
• Proficiency in MS Office and comfort with digital documentation tools.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Jodhpur within a fast‑paced export environment.
• Prior experience in furniture, home décor or export merchandising is an advantage.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or related field preferred.
