Assistant Manager – Travel Operations

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Travel Operations will oversee end‑to‑end travel booking activities, ensuring client requirements are met across air and non‑air services. This role combines ticket issuance, sales driving, and client relationship management to achieve revenue and service targets.

Key responsibilities

• Issue tickets according to client specifications.
• Manage all transactions related to non‑air services such as rail, visa, bus, and insurance.
• Ensure client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
• Drive PLB carrier sales and achieve defined revenue targets.
• Upload all supporting documents in the iBook system.
• Maintain zero billing pendency and provide correspondence for submissions.
• Handle personal bookings for clients and ensure timely payment collection.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day bookings with customers.
• Negotiate with hotels and suppliers and manage related invoicing, collection, and reconciliation.
• Deliver high‑quality service to maximize client satisfaction and business growth.

Required profile

• Experience in travel operations, ticketing and non‑air service management.
• Proven ability to meet client SLAs and achieve revenue/transaction targets.
• Strong coordination skills with customers, hotels and suppliers.
• Capability to manage invoicing, collection and reconciliation processes.
• Focus on delivering high customer satisfaction and quality service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the iBook system for document uploads.
• Familiarity with PLB carrier sales processes.
