Assistant Manager Transportation Planner

About the role

The Assistant Manager Transportation Planner will own the TCT execution process, tracking shipments, vehicles and assets in real time. You will provide timely and accurate status updates, monitor key performance indicators and coordinate corrective actions with carriers and warehouses.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure quality of tracking data and continuously record actuals of all track events.
• Monitor milestones of selected track events and identify alerts.
• Resolve shipment issues such as delays and escalations according to SOP.
• Serve as liaison between TCT and stakeholders to ensure clear communication.
• Leverage advanced visibility technologies to enhance tracking and tracing capabilities.
• Alert relevant stakeholders about disruptions and coordinate corrective actions.

Required profile

• Engineering, logistics or business university/technical degree (desirable).
• 0‑1 year experience in transport or logistics (entry level).
• Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluent English speaker with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding of Urdu, Hindi or Nepali is a plus.
