Assistant Manager – Training (Sales Trainer)

About the role

Hero Vired is seeking an Assistant Manager – Training (Sales Trainer) to lead capability building for its Degree Sales team. The role focuses on designing, delivering and measuring sales training programs that boost sales effectiveness and accelerate new‑hire readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver structured induction, onboarding and refresher training for Learning Consultants.
• Conduct product knowledge, sales process, objection handling, consultative selling and communication skills sessions.
• Drive new‑hire certification and ensure sales‑floor readiness within defined timelines.
• Partner with Sales Managers to identify training needs and implement targeted learning interventions.
• Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, certifications, sales performance and quality metrics.
• Develop and update training content, sales playbooks, product collaterals, SOPs and learning resources.
• Facilitate role‑plays, mock calls and coaching sessions to enhance learner engagement.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Marketing and Business teams for timely communication of updates.
• Support hiring by participating in interviews and assessing sales readiness.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of experience in sales training, preferably within the EdTech industry.
• Proven ability to design and deliver impactful training programs.
• Strong partnership skills with sales and cross‑functional leaders.
• Excellent analytical skills to measure training impact.
