Assistant Manager - Taxation

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Taxation will support the finance team in managing all statutory tax compliance and reporting activities. This role ensures accurate preparation of GST and income‑tax returns, handles audits, and coordinates refund processes across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B, GSTR‑6) and TDS, PT returns.
• Perform monthly clearing and reconciliation of GST‑ and TDS‑related general ledger accounts in SAP.
• Support GST and tax audits, as well as income‑tax return filing.
• Manage submission of and responses to GST/Income Tax notices and assessments.
• Coordinate GST and Income Tax refund processes for all entities.
• Handle statutory compliance matters, including notices and filings.
• Provide data for Limited Review, Annual Audit, and Internal Audit.
• Reconcile Input Tax Credit (ITC) with GSTR‑2B on a monthly basis.
