Assistant Manager – Supply Chain Management

About the role

Normet is seeking an Assistant Manager for Supply Chain Management to coordinate purchase orders, supplier interactions, and global spare‑parts activities. Based in Jaipur, you will act as the operational link between Indian suppliers, internal teams, and the Global Spare Parts Centre in the Netherlands.

Key responsibilities

• Receive purchase requirements from the Global Distribution Centre (Netherlands) and ensure timely PO creation and release.
• Act as the primary interface with Indian suppliers, obtain order confirmations, verify delivery dates, and manage deviations.
• Coordinate daily with the Global Spare Parts Centre, sharing confirmations and providing status updates.
• Collaborate with Operational Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, Planning, Warehouse, and Quality teams to keep all stakeholders informed.
• Track supplier deliveries, support urgent shipments, and coordinate receipt and packaging with the warehouse.
• Maintain delivery trackers, PO status reports, and prepare daily/weekly reports on open orders, commitments, delays, and critical shortages.

Required profile

• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8‑10 years of relevant experience in a similar industry.
• Proven ability to manage purchase orders, supplier relationships, and cross‑functional coordination.
• Strong communication skills and proactive risk‑escalation mindset.
