Assistant Manager – Supply Chain

About the role

Rehlko is looking for an Assistant Manager to support its Supply Chain function. The role focuses on material planning, inventory control and logistics coordination to ensure timely delivery of components for production.

Key responsibilities

• Receive the Materials Resource Planning Chart from Production Planning and Control.
• Analyze reports and predict required stock by comparing planned and existing material inventories.
• Define new supplier strategies such as consignment stock, JIT and VMI to improve inventory turnover.
• Manage transportation and logistics, submitting material schedules to suppliers.
• Prioritize weekly and daily material purchasing requests.
• Ensure all materials arrive by the required deadlines.
• Monitor and forecast upcoming demand levels for services and products.
• Review safety stocks, lead times and minimum order quantities with suppliers.
• Supervise parts expediting to avoid missing components in production.
• Coordinate with production and purchasing departments to guarantee timely material delivery.
• Manage material flow to maintain optimal inventory levels.
