Assistant Manager – Sales (Reactive)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Sales (Reactive) will work on‑site at Hard Rock Hotel Goa, handling inbound sales enquiries and converting leads into bookings. You will act as a key liaison between guests, travel agents, corporate clients and internal hotel teams to drive revenue and ensure a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to incoming sales inquiries, leads and group booking requests.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations and sales packages.
• Follow up with potential and existing clients to secure reservations.
• Coordinate with operations and front‑office teams to guarantee smooth arrivals and stays.
• Maintain accurate sales records, reports and CRM data.
• Support revenue generation through promotions, travel‑agent relationships and corporate accounts.
• Monitor market trends and update sales databases.
• Ensure all communications reflect Hard Rock brand standards.

Required profile

• Proven sales and client‑relationship experience, preferably in hotel or resort environments.
• Strong hospitality and customer‑service background with ability to handle service recovery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Organisational and administrative competence, including record‑keeping and reporting.
• Basic analytical and commercial awareness of room rates, revenue targets and market dynamics.
• Ability to work on‑site in Calangute and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Relevant education in hospitality, business or a related field; hotel sales or front‑office experience is a plus.
