Assistant Manager - Sales

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Sales supports the Sales Manager in driving revenue for an Accor hotel. The role combines market research, community networking and coordination with internal departments to attract and retain guests.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a library of reference materials, periodicals and sales leads while staying current on market trends and hotel selling techniques.
• Conduct continuous market research to identify business sources, client profiles and travel patterns.
• Travel on sales trips to promote the hotel and solicit new business.
• Develop and sustain relationships with airlines, travel agencies, commercial partners, private clubs and professional associations.
• Review and update internal promotional materials to ensure visual effectiveness and brand consistency.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage to organise special promotions that boost F&B sales.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Housekeeping on room reservations, guest inquiries, requests and complaints.
• Supervise and administer all personnel within the Sales Department.
• Plan and execute direct‑mail campaigns with the Public Relations team to generate local interest.

Required profile

• Reports directly to the Sales Manager.
• Experience supervising a sales team and coordinating cross‑departmental projects.
• Ability to maintain strong community and partner relationships.
• Proactive in market research and trend analysis.
