About the role

The Assistant Manager -R will join Bank of America’s Global Banking & Markets (GBAM) Operations Tax & Control team within Global Business Services. The role supports tax‑related processes for GBAM operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end tax collection and reporting processes for commercial, corporate and investment banking clients.
• Monitor and verify compliance with applicable tax laws in the United States and international locations.
• Identify and mitigate tax‑related financial risks while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with technology and operations teams to improve tax control frameworks.
• Support the “Collect Tax” function and related regulatory reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation or a related field.
• Experience in banking operations or tax compliance, preferably within a global organization.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
