Assistant Manager - Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Quantity Surveyor will support the construction team by managing cost estimation, budgeting and financial tracking for projects at House of Hiranandani. The role involves close collaboration with site managers, architects and the SAP IT team to ensure accurate cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Review construction plans and drawings and perform quantity take‑offs for RCC, finishing and interior works.
• Conduct rate analysis, prepare estimates and develop detailed budgets.
• Upload and manage budget data in SAP, monitor and track expenditures.
• Liaise with site managers, architects and external stakeholders to gather information and resolve issues.
• Prepare reports, contracts, risk assessments and other documentation.
• Track material usage, order supplies as needed and update budgets with any changes.
• Coordinate with the SAP IT team to ensure smooth system operation.

Required profile

• 7‑9 years of experience in quantity surveying or related civil engineering roles.
• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering (B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of quantity estimation, billing engineering, rate analysis and construction cost control.
• Ability to prepare BOQs, tender documents and estimates from drawings.
• Analytical, critical thinking and strong negotiation skills.
• Team‑player with good organisational and planning abilities.
• Experience in construction estimating or finance is a plus.
