Assistant Manager - Purchase

About the role

Accor is looking for a detail‑oriented Assistant Manager – Purchase to join the ibis Jaipur City Centre team. You will support the hotel’s supply chain by managing purchasing operations, vendor relationships and cost‑effective procurement strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day purchasing activities, including creation, processing and tracking of purchase orders.
• Ensure purchase order requests are completed, approved and authorised.
• Negotiate food prices, place daily food orders and verify timely delivery.
• Obtain competitive quotations, confirm product availability and generate purchase orders.
• Provide the Financial Controller with monthly purchasing summaries.
• Conduct food‑supplier premise checks with the Chef to confirm HACCP compliance before vendor registration.
• Perform surprise audits of receiving and storage areas to maintain HACCP standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; 3‑4 years in procurement and purchasing.
• Proven experience in vendor management and supplier relationship development.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data and make purchasing decisions.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Service‑oriented with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
