Assistant Manager – PMG

About the role

The Assistant Manager – PMG will support the end‑to‑end delivery of projects within a manufacturing environment. You will work closely with design, quality, production and supply‑chain teams to ensure technical requirements are met and projects are completed on time and within scope.

Key responsibilities

• Study specifications, drawings and standards to understand all technical requirements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Design, Quality, Production and Supply Chain.
• Organise kick‑off meetings, prepare project plans and monitor progress through regular reviews.
• Prepare and communicate status reports and interact with customers.
• Manage time, scope and risks, including identification of potential risks and development of mitigation plans.
• Handle negotiations, conflict resolution and priority setting.
• Adapt to changes and adjust project plans accordingly.
• Oversee procurement activities: consolidate BOM details, submit purchase requisitions, coordinate PO placement and ensure timely receipt of full kits.
• Control production by submitting job tickets, monitoring progress and ensuring timely completion.

Required profile

• Ability to interpret specifications, drawings and standards.
• Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven track record of organising kick‑off meetings and developing project plans.
• Strong communication skills for status reporting and customer interaction.
• Competence in time, scope and risk management.
• Negotiation and conflict‑handling experience.
• Flexibility to adapt to project changes.
• Procurement management experience, including BOM consolidation and PO coordination.
• Production control experience, such as job ticket handling and progress monitoring.
