Assistant Manager – Outbound Logistics

About the role

Bosch Rexroth India is seeking an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager to lead its outbound logistics function. The role focuses on ensuring timely dispatches, high customer satisfaction, accurate inventory, and efficient transportation while adhering to cost and compliance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end outbound logistics operations, guaranteeing on‑time deliveries.
• Oversee transportation management, carrier selection and freight cost optimization.
• Control inventory and warehouse processes to maintain high accuracy and productivity.
• Handle customer service and complaint resolution related to logistics deliveries.
• Administer SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) processes for logistics transactions.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, statutory regulations, quality and safety standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost‑reduction projects.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in managing outbound logistics operations.
• Strong focus on dispatch adherence, inventory accuracy and transportation efficiency.
• Ability to monitor and improve key performance indicators such as freight cost per shipment and warehouse productivity.
• Commitment to compliance, quality and safety in logistics processes.
