Assistant Manager / Manager – Project Management (Industrial Automation)

About the role

Emerson is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager or Manager to lead end‑to‑end project delivery for industrial automation and control system initiatives. You will build trusted customer partnerships, oversee project lifecycles from initiation to closure, and ensure delivery excellence across complex, medium‑to‑large scale projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones and deliverables.
• Plan, coordinate and manage resources, budgets and cost control (EAC) throughout the project.
• Identify risks and dependencies, develop mitigation plans and track progress using appropriate tools.
• Communicate status through reports, dashboards and meetings, and manage change requests with proper documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and compliance with organizational standards.

Required skills

• Project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office.
• Industrial automation and control system knowledge.
• Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD).
