Assistant Manager – Legal (Global Service Centre)

About the role

DP World Financial Services Limited (DPWFS) is seeking an Assistant Manager – Legal to support its Legal Director. The role focuses on managing legal aspects of trade finance products, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Legal Director in overseeing all legal matters related to DPWFS’s trade finance activities.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including financing contracts, service agreements, and partnership documents.
• Provide legal advice on regulatory compliance, particularly concerning DFSA regulations and credit licensing.
• Support the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures within the Global Service Centre.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across finance, operations, and risk management to mitigate legal risks.

Required profile

• Law degree from a recognized institution.
• Relevant legal experience in trade finance, banking, or corporate law.
• Strong understanding of DFSA regulations and credit licensing frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
