Assistant Manager - Housekeeping

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to support the daily housekeeping operations of our luxury hotel. You will ensure that guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces consistently meet Accor’s high standards of cleanliness and service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing day‑to‑day housekeeping activities, guaranteeing luxury‑level quality across all areas.
• Supervise and guide housekeeping associates, room attendants and supervisors to achieve efficient operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces to uphold hygiene and brand standards.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering and Laundry to ensure seamless guest service and room readiness.
• Handle guest complaints and special requests promptly, aiming for maximum satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory, linen control, guest supplies and cleaning equipment while managing departmental costs.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health & safety regulations and housekeeping SOPs.
• Support staff training, performance evaluations, scheduling and team development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality.
• 3–5 years of housekeeping experience in a 5‑star hotel, including 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication and guest‑relations abilities.
• Good knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning standards and inventory management.
• Organizational, problem‑solving and multitasking skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in hotel management systems.
• Microsoft Office.
