Assistant Manager - Holiday Sales

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Holiday Sales will lead short‑haul and domestic travel sales for MakeMyTrip’s Holiday division. Based in Gurgaon, you will oversee a team of Holiday Experts, coordinate with suppliers and ensure end‑to‑end service excellence for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations for short‑haul and domestic travel across multiple destinations.
• Handle queries, quotations, bookings and post‑booking support throughout the customer journey.
• Monitor service quality, resolve escalations related to flights, hotels, visas and ground services.
• Collaborate with airlines, hotels and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of holiday packages.
• Track team performance against KPIs such as turnaround time, conversion rate and customer satisfaction.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to boost efficiency and experience.
• Provide training, coaching and product knowledge support to the Holiday Experts team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, travel regulations and financial guidelines.
• Drive sales performance to meet revenue targets and support business growth.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree from a reputed institute.
• 6–8 years of experience in travel sales and operations.
• Strong leadership, communication and customer‑handling abilities.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing a high‑performing team.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of GDS systems – Amadeus, Galileo and Sabre.
• Familiarity with travel booking platforms.
