Assistant Manager – FLM Mechanical/Electrical

About the role

Bosch Chassis Systems India Ltd, a wholly owned Bosch subsidiary, is expanding its RBIC portfolio in passive safety and driver assistance. The Assistant Manager – FLM Mechanical/Electrical will lead facility management, utility optimisation and infrastructure projects to support the company’s growth in Pune.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and maintain installations such as power, compressed air, HVAC, water, captive power plant and telecommunications, ensuring waste management and compliance with safety norms.
• Analyse energy and water consumption, drive conservation initiatives and implement cost‑saving projects.
• Lead civil and infrastructure projects, including building extensions, and obtain internal and external approvals.
• Prepare and control budgets, cost calculations, capital purchases and financial tracking for projects.
• Support procurement of facility‑management contracts in line with Bosch’s financial policies.
• Ensure health, safety and housekeeping standards, including 5S, HSE audits and statutory compliance.

Required profile

• BE in Mechanical or Electrical engineering with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale facility, utility and construction projects from charter to completion.
• Strong budgeting, cost‑control and financial reporting skills.
• Experience coordinating legal, statutory and procurement processes.
