Assistant Manager - Corporate Communications

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Corporate Communications will develop and execute communication strategies that strengthen the brand and platform reputation. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will craft clear, consistent messaging for external audiences and ensure alignment with the organization’s narrative.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and execute communication plans for platform features, business initiatives, international expansion, brand initiatives and partnerships.
• Build and maintain relationships with media, journalists and industry influencers.
• Draft and monitor press releases, media notes, FAQs and messaging documents across earned, paid and owned media.
• Drive agencies and coordinate press interactions, events and announcements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align communication with business objectives.
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations.
• Manage communication calendars, ensuring daily storytelling and timely execution of initiatives.
• Track daily media coverage, sentiment and share of voice.
• Identify opportunities for executive profiling and industry participation to ensure share of voice.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism or Public Relations.
• 6‑7 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or strategic communications, preferably in consumer‑tech or OTT platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven media relations and networking ability.
• Ability to translate complex technology topics into compelling narratives.
• Team player with experience coordinating across teams.
• Understanding of technology, OTT, entertainment and consumer‑tech trends.
• Familiarity with media monitoring and PR measurement tools.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
