Assistant Manager (Civil) – Solar Projects

About the role

The Assistant Manager (Civil) – Solar Projects will lead the execution and supervision of civil works for utility‑scale solar installations at the project site in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. You will ensure that all construction activities are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and execute all civil works, including land development, foundations, module mounting structures, and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate with project managers, electrical teams, and contractors to maintain workflow and meet project timelines.
• Ensure civil works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor contractor performance, productivity, and adherence to safety and quality norms.
• Track daily site progress, report status, delays, and risks to management.
• Identify and resolve on‑site issues to prevent project delays.
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment.
• Oversee material utilization, minimize wastage, and maintain accurate site records and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering (B.Tech – Civil preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in solar project execution, preferably ground‑mounted.
• 5–8 years of total experience in civil construction, including foundations, MMS piling, RCC, and structural works.
• Proven ability to manage on‑site execution for utility‑scale solar projects.
• Willingness to work independently at the project site and manage day‑to‑day activities.
