About the role
The Assistant Manager – Bar will support the Bar Manager in delivering high‑quality beverage service and ensuring smooth daily operations at Grand Hyatt Kochi. This position plays a key part in meeting guest expectations while adhering to Hyatt International brand standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the efficient running of bar operations in line with corporate strategies and brand standards.
- Support the Bar Manager in managing the bar as an independent profit centre.
- Ensure exceptional beverage service and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Oversee daily bar activities, control costs, and manage inventory.
- Support the development and training of the bar team.
- Operate within budget constraints and contribute to the outlet’s financial success.
Required profile
- Relevant degree, apprenticeship or diploma in Hospitality or restaurant management.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Assistant Manager, Team Leader or Captain in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards.
