Assistant Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to support the upkeep of our food manufacturing plant in Jaipur. The role involves ensuring smooth operation of plant machinery, utilities and electrical systems while minimizing production downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
• Monitor and maintain electrical, mechanical, utility and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot machinery breakdowns to ensure minimum production downtime.
• Coordinate with production teams for timely maintenance and equipment availability.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists, spare‑parts inventory and service reports.
• Coordinate with external vendors/technicians for repairs and AMC‑related activities.
• Support installation, commissioning and modification of new machinery and equipment.
• Identify recurring breakdowns and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Monitor maintenance costs and assist in controlling spare and repair expenses.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of maintenance experience, preferably in Food/FMCG manufacturing.
• Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance of industrial machinery.
• Experience in preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis and troubleshooting.
