Assistant Front Office Manager

About the role

The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front‑office operations at a hotel in Bengaluru. This role ensures smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, maintains high guest satisfaction, and helps drive the department’s financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front‑office teams including Bell/Doorman, Switchboard, and Guest Services/Front Desk staff.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, ensuring service standards and guest expectations are consistently met.
• Handle guest complaints, resolve disputes, and implement corrective actions based on feedback.
• Monitor employee performance, recognize achievements, and provide coaching as needed.
• Collaborate with the Front Office Manager to set goals, track progress, and continuously improve service quality.
• Ensure accurate and efficient check‑in/check‑out procedures and financial transactions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of guest‑services or front‑desk experience, **or** a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on integrity and teamwork.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop front‑office staff.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality.
